Day 01 (Sun)  US/BEIJING
Take an international flight from the US to Beijing, China. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane. Movies will also be available
during the flight.

Day 02 (Mon)  BEIJING
Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our tour guide. For those arriving in Beijing earlier today, you may spend the rest of the day for leisure or join in the optional tours in Beijing.

Day 03 (Tues)  BEIJING  (AB)
Enjoy your full day for leisure or taking the following optional tour with lunch and specialty dinner at group discount rate of $70 P/P

Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace. This was the palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors who ruled China for over 500 years. Take a photo stop at the National Center for the Performing Arts, also known as the National Grand Theatre, designed by the French architect Paul Andreu. You will also tour the Summer Palace, the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. Feast your eyes on the Long Corridor, Longevity Hill, and Kunming Lake. If time permits, you may also have the opportunity to see pandas at Beijing Zoo located nearby the Summer Palace. Attend a welcome Peking Duck Dinner tonight.


Day 04 (Wed)  BEIJING (AB)
Enjoy your full day for leisure or taking the following optional tour with lunch and dinner at group discount rate of $70 P/P

The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall of China at Juyongguan Pass, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind. After lunch, you will stroll along the Sacred Way guarding the Ming Tombs, lined with different statutes of animals such as lions, elephants, camels and etc. Later in the day, you will make a photo stopover at the Olympic Park where you will view the exterior of the Bird Nest-China National Stadium and Water Cube-China National Aquatic Center.


Day 05 (Thurs)  BEIJING  (AB)
Enjoy your full day for leisure or taking the following optional tour with lunch and dinner at group discount rate of $60 P/P

This morning you will take a tour of Hutong (Chinese alleyways) by riding aboard a rickshaw pedicab through the narrow lanes of the old residential quarters. You will have the opportunity to take a glimpse of the local residents’ daily life. After lunch, you will tour the delicately crafted Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used to pray for good harvest. Enjoy the rest of the day for leisure.


Day 06 (Fri)  BEIJING/XIAN  (AB, SD)
After breakfast, you will take a flight to Xian, the ancient capital city for 11 dynasties in Chinese history. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda upon arrival in Xian. Enjoy a dumpling dinner banquet, followed by an on-stage show of Tang Dynasty dance and music.

Day 07 (Sat)  XIAN   (AB, L)
After breakfast, visit the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and see the awesome Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, widely regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. After lunch, take a tour of the well preserved Ancient City Wall. Enjoy the rest of the day for leisure.

Day 08 (Sun)  XIAN/LHASA (AB, L, D)
This morning you will take a flight to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. Lhasa is often referred to as the “City of Sunshine” with more than 3000 hours of sunshine annually. The rest of the day will be free for your leisure and adapting yourself to the high elevation.

Day 09 (Mon) LHASA  (AB, L, D)
The tour today will cover the Potala Palace, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also visit Johkang Lamasery and stroll along the bustling Barkhor Street in Lhasa filled with various local handicrafts.

Day 10 (Tues)  LHASA  (AB, L, D)
You will visit Norbulinka, the summer palace for Dalai Lama followed by the Tibet Museum. You may also call upon a Tibetan family to take a glimpse of the local residents’ daily life.

Day 11 (Wed)  LHASA/CHENGDU (AB, L, SD)
After breakfast, you will take a departure transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will visit the Temple of Marquis Wu in memory of Zhu Ge Liang, the famous strategist during the Three Kingdoms period. Enjoy the authentic Sichuan cuisine dinner, followed by Sichuan Opera Show tonight.

Day 12 (Thurs)  CHENGDU (AB, L)
The excursion today takes you to the the Panda Breeding Base, located 40 minutes drive away from the city of Chengdu. The 25-acre center houses 20 or so on-site giant pandas playing, sleeping and eating bamboo.You will enjoy  watching the giant pandas at different ages and may wish to hug one of the pandas for photo taking (advance reservation and extra fee needed). Return to the city in the afternoon to stroll around the Narrow & Wide Lanes lined with pubs, local restaurants and boutique stores. Enjoy the rest of the day for leisure.

Day 13 (Fri)  CHENGDU/SHANGHAI  (AB)
Enjoy some leisure time before taking a departure transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, China’s largest city (home to 16 million people). Shanghai is also China’s principal port on a deep estuary of the Yangtze River. Often regarded as “the Paris of the East,” Shanghai has retained the flavor of its past European influences. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the rest of the day for leisure, or join in some optional tours in Shanghai.

Day 14 (Sat)  SHANGHAI   (AB, L, SD)
The excursion today takes you to the Bund - a waterfront area that showcases many landmark buildings of western style built in the early 20th century, the bustling Nanjing Road, Chenghuangmiao Old Town, and Tianzifang, an old neighborhood with hidden alleyways full of boutiques and art galleries. You will also visit the well-known Shanghai Museum of Art and History, which ranks among the great museums of the world. Attend a farewell dinner celebration of Shanghai cuisine in the evening, followed by an optional cruise on Huangpu River to enjoy a fascinating night view of Shanghai.

Day 15 (Sun)  SHANGHAI/US (AB)
After breakfast you will take a departure transfer to the airport for the flight back home.

The Great Wall of China at Mutianyu section is located farther away from the city proper of Beijing, and is a lot less crowded in comparison with other sections of the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall stretches about 2 miles with 22 watchtowers for you to explore. Surrounded by woodland and streams, Mutianyu Great Wall possesses unique characteristics in its construction and gives you a breathtaking view.

Yonghe Lamasery, also known as Lama Temple, is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries in the world. The building complex originally served as the official residence for Prince Yong who later became an emperor in Qing Dynasty.

"798" is located in the Dashanzi area, to the northeast of central Beijing.It is the site of state-owned factories including Factory 798, which originally produced electronics. Beginning in 2002, artists and cultural organizations began to divide, rent out, and re-make the factory spaces, gradually developing them into galleries, art centers, artists' studios, design companies, restaurants, and bars. It is often compared with New York's Greenwich Village or SoHo, attracting attention from all around. Bringing together contemporary art, architecture, and culture with a historically interesting location and an urban lifestyle, "798" has evolved into a cultural concept, of interest to experts and normal folk alike, influential on our concepts of both urban culture and living space.
